Project panning

Image
This year I've found a huge community on youtube which the project pan community. This community is basically about using up the products you already own instead of constantly buying new things. If you follow me on instagram then you will know that I have two projects going on this year. The first one is my 19in2019 which is basically me trying to use up 19 products throughout the year. Now yes I know that sounds insane however some of the products are a smaller or sample size so that are (in theory!) easier to used up. The second project is a huge community project pan which the graveyard project pan. This was started on youtube and I do mine updates on instagram which quite a few of people are doing. The point of this project is to use up your older projects in your collection or the products that you didn't finished in previous project pan's. These projects have made me realised that it's so hard to use things up. I have so much makeup from years of going

Always remember where we came from

Over the past couple of months I feel that my body has let me down in many ways. It made me ill out of blue which meant I had to build myself up again which I wasn't planning to do. However after doing this I've know realised what's important, after having this blog for nearly 6 years and posting about beauty and my story it's important to remember why I do what I do. I was at a family event yesterday, and after speaking to one of my relatives who actually reads this blog, I suddenly realised that I've kind of lost touch with why I do, what I do. My story is unique and I am very lucky to have a physical condition but still be able to do what I love. That's partly why I set this up in the first place, is to show that even through you have something that could potentially hold you back that doesn't mean that it should. Having cerebral palsy and epilepsy has had it challenges for sure, however it also shown me the strength I have. I think in the day and age

The Evolution of my beauty habits

So for a while now I've been meaning to get on the blogging band wagon but have been unsure how to as it's been quite a while. So I was going to do a favourites to explain what I have been using these past few months, however instead I thought I would talk about something that has been apparent to a lot of people and has been issue with quite a few friends of mine as well. Over the past few years the online beauty community has grown and grown. This is partly because anyone can set up a blog as long as you've got some sort of camera and access to the internet then you set up a blog. However with this growth means there are more and more people talking or writing about things that they have enjoyed or not. Depending on how many followers that person has can depend on how far that information travelled. This is partly how we get "hype up" products because the more and more people that talk about this one product mean the more and people who then want to go buy

Sephora haul

This summer I was very lucky to be able to go Disney world Florida and it was amazing! While I was there I was really wanted to take a trip to Sephora as I live in the U.K, we don't have anything like that over here. I did have to restrain myself quite a bit as I was aware of baggage limits. So I wanted to pick up things that are harder to get over here in the U.K I have only tried a couple of bits and I don't like to have to much open a one time. So Starting with brushes I have heard so many good things about the Sephora own brand brushes. I picked up two that I don't really have dupes of. So I picked up the 94 Core Diffuser this is quite a dense brush. However I find that it works really well for loose powder. The other brush I bought is the Pro artist shadow in number 30. The thing I really like about this brushes is that they come in there own case which is great for travel. I decided to pick up one eye shadow palette as I had think of getting home, however I c

Massive collective haul

Over the past few months I've picked up quite a for bits and thought I would share them all with you. So starting of with eyeshadow I've picked up a few palettes and one single eyeshadow. Starting of with the palettes I have one duo from MAC that I purchased a few months ago and have been using it so much. I already have a quad and love it so much, however I decided to pick up a duo as this would be great to pair with my other shadow and great to travel with as it's so compact. So the shades I choose were woodwink and wedge. I have used these shadows a couples of times a really like how easy they are to blend. Moving onto to some other eyeshadow palettes I popped into Superdrug the other and saw these beautiful eyeshadow palettes that I just couldn't leave without. I have seen them on instagram and just thought that they looked amazing and I always trust revolution eyeshadows as I have already have so many of there palettes and used them on the regular. This

Favourites for 2017

Image
I hope you have all have a great start to 2018. I do realised that I'm a little late to the party for doing these favourites, however this first two weeks of this have been very busy for me so I've only got round to doing it now! I have two eyeshadow palettes that I've loved and basically exclusively only using these this year. The first one you may have seen a couple of months ago and I'm actually trying to use this up. This is the Stila eyes are the window Mind palette. This is such an easy everyday palette as it has everything you need for a quick eye look.  The other one will be no surprise if you been a follower of my blog last year. This is the Too faced Chocolate bon bons palette. The shade in this are amazing and so easy to blend. Unfortunately yesterday the lid came over so I will continue to use it, however I will probably repurchase it later in the year and I really do love it.  Last year my best friend treated my to a new perfume which

Happy new Year Project Pan 2018!

So it's been a while since I posted on here, life has kind of been totally different in 2017 and I lost the swing of posting every week. However new year new start! I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and has settled down into the swing of 2018. 2017 I learnt so much about using what you have and not just buying every new product that comes out. I also learnt that actually using up what you have is really hard as if you have a big collection then it can take literally years to use. So I have decided to have a few products that I'm going to try and use up that will hopefully either have more of a dent in or be totally gone. Starting off with base products I don't actually have many foundation and things because with I realised that I don't need 20 foundations as they take a couple of months to go through and they go off in a few months. So I have two foundations that I want to get through, the first one is the lasting finish Rimmel lasting finish in classic iv
